Program services at winter

Our winter season begins in November and continues all the way to May when the snow starts to melt. Mid-winter with its twilight time and Northern lights create magnificent venues for our arctic winter programs. How does it sound to go skiing in the moonlight or explore the bright star sky on snowshoes? Our Christmas programs start running in November and you can meet Father Christmas with his little helpers on our exciting snowmobile safaris.

Weekly program offers guaranteed daily departures in snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skiing as well as in reindeer and husky rides. You can try ice-fishing or visit interesting snow village. For children we have special program in mini skidoos and snowshoe excursions. We also rent snowmobiles and other winter equipment if you wish to explore the nature on your own.

When sun starts to shine in the early spring, the safaris get longer. We organize snowmobile safaris all the way to the Arctic Ocean in Norway. Overnight cross-country skiing and snowshoe trekkings reach the beautiful national park of Pallas-Yllästunturi.

If you wish to offer your friends or family an unforgettable evening in Ylläs, it is definitely our traditional smoke sauna, hot outdoor bath and winter swimming in the lake Ylläsjärvi. You can continue your memorable evening with special dinner that we organize in a log house next to sauna. For groups we also arrange Lappish Olympic Games and Lappish ceremonies.

Our wilderness destination Laulumaa is a perfect location for our overnight safaris. We also organize meetings, special dinners and program services for groups in the surroundings of Laulumaa.
